Success and Failure

I recently participated in an activity letting us follow our dreams, which was held by Disney Channel Hong Kong. I was so surprised I was the top 10. Yesterday, I went to the function.

It firstly played games with us, and the atmosphere was very excellent! Then 3 successful guests shared their road to success.

The most inspiring story was Prudence, the creator of Chocolate Rain 's one. She had fought for her career for more than 10 years. At first, she was not supported by her family. She hardly saved $50K to open up her first shop. Since she did not want to look down by her family, she had not returned to home for 5 years and lived in her shop. There was no earnings and no one went into her shop. At that time, she failed to make others like her design. However she did not give up and was finally being discovered. Her design of Chocolate Rain became very popular among Hongkongers. She expanded the design to UK and the design was used for the promotion of  Bristish Museum. Yes, she finally suceed! (:

And back to the event, I was so happy that I cound join the sharing. I was luckily arranged to the group of Prudence. I asked her so many questions and she answered me one by one. I learnt a lot from Prudence. She taught me a lot about designing and the way to complete the whole design. She inspired me a lot, and the most important thing was that, Chinese painting was also welcomed too!!

At the end of the event, I was not chosen to be the champian, and was a bit upset. I was in a bad mood on the way back to home. But when I thought about the failure of the competition in the MTR, I was not that down. That was mostly because I realized that was just a small challenge in my life. This was just the start of my road!!! I knew that there were a lot of ways to do for my dream. And now I am writing my blog, and this is also a way to fame.

To me, success is a fame and an encouragement. Having it,of course is a delightful thing. It is a decoration of life, which makes us feeling a more beautiful life. Losing it, maybe is grey and leads to more negative impacts. However, if I do not handle it with a lot of concerns, it is just a cloud passed by. Thereby no negative impacts will come to me.
About failure, yet it is such a bad thing and makes my life being bad. But I should know that failure can be seen as  challenge. Can you imagine that a life without any challenge? It must be so boring! Challenges are additional gifts in life. Without, I cannot improve myself and go to another stage of my life.
So, here I grew up. I learnt to know that challenges are always here. Living with them, I equipped myself again, waiting for my next challenges! So, go fight for it!!! I can be the hero of my life. Fighting!!!

Impressive moment

I went to Tuen Mun Park with my mom today and took lots of photos.

The most impressive thing I found in there was, the region I'm living in now, is going to be an old place very soon.

Look at the picture I have taken. The elderly looks very lonely and seems to get nothing to do all day long.

I questioned myself when I saw her. Why are there some of the elderlies so lonely, and they seems not very happy all the time?

Well, maybe they are worrying about their livings. Maybe they don't have any job, therefore they just sit and negatively let time pass.

Right, the society is not fair. It fouls people who are not capable to contribute. However, we are living in a capitalist city. The more you work, the more you get. We can't change this situation, but still we can do something. I don't mean we should do something big, but at least something make small contributions to the society. Look, there are so many elderlies live alone. Doing volenteering works, like visiting these elderlies, can be small contributions. You might find some excuses not to visit them. But let me tell you, doing volenteering works are fun! Seriously! I have visited elderlies who live alone. They are talkative. During the visiting, you will find that elderlies are intersting. They tell so many old things and share their living experiences. I learnt a lot from them, like how they live with insufficient sources, how they got over difficulties etc. Seems to be boring, huh? You once take part in it, you will never forget how you love to be with elderlies. So yea, start seeking for volunteering works now, so that you can have a meaningful summer vacation this year!
